Project Plan Ahead was brought to the Commonwealth by SADD, with funding from the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, to help people plan a safe ride home before they need one on high risk holidays and events. Ultimately, the goal is to save lives and prevent traffic fatalities on roadways. Rides are available anywhere in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Credits can only be redeemed between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. You cannot schedule a pickup in advance. Rides are available while supplies last and will reset each day.

This program provides a free Uber or Lyft ride home up to $15. Users are financially responsible for anything over $15.
