Get A Safe Free Sober Ride Home
Providing redeemable rideshare codes to help you plan a safe ride home before you need one.
Celebrate Smart. Get Home Safe.
Grills are fired up, drinks are flowing, and Labor Day celebrations are in full swing. If you plan to drink, plan ahead and make sure you have a safe way home.
Holiday gatherings should be memorable for the right reasons. Driving after drinking puts you, your passengers, and others on the road at risk. Planning a ride ahead of time is a simple step that can make a big difference.
Whether that means riding with a sober friend, using a rideshare, or arranging transportation before the celebration starts, having a plan in place helps keep everyone safe.
Let the grill be the only thing heating up this weekend.
Make responsible choices and get home safely.

Plan Smart. Ride Free. Arrive Safe.
Project Plan Ahead was brought to the Commonwealth by SADD, with funding from the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, to help people plan a safe ride home before they need one on high risk holidays and events. Ultimately, the goal is to save lives and prevent traffic fatalities on roadways. Rides are available anywhere in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Credits can only be redeemed between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. You cannot schedule a pickup in advance. Rides are available while supplies last and will reset each day.
This program provides a free Uber or Lyft ride home up to $15. Users are financially responsible for anything over $15.
